Joewell's Concave Cobalt may be the new kid on the block but its cutting performance is second to none. These scissors combine the keen edge and easy cutting of a concave blade with the long life of cobalt steel, giving you a truly innovative hairdressing scissor.
- Blades—one concave blade made from cobalt steel and one standard stainless steel blade. Joewell's tests show that this combination of blade type and materials gives a low-effort cut and makes the razor-sharp edges last longer.
- Handles—slightly offset for comfort and with a removable finger rest, they're made from a nickel-less steel to protect your fingers from nickel allergy. They have a special finish that helps keep your hands dry too.
- Tension screw—Joewell's new flat adjustable screw means there's no screw to get in the way of your comb, but you also get the convenience of being able to adjust the tension to suit your preference. A special adjustment tool comes with the scissors.

A combination of Cobalt Base Alloy CBA-12
and Stainless Alloy creates the long-lasting blade.
By using the blade material which differs to the inside (moving blade = Stainless Alloy) and outside (still blade = Cobalt Base Alloy CBA-12), the edge will not nick so easily.
