have had my T3 for a few months and can see the difference now from this blowdryer and my previous blowdryer. My hair is 4A and I am black. I think this blowdryer is good for getting it dry quickly and it seems to give shiny healthy hair results. But my passion is wearing my hair straight. I normally style my hair with a flat iron and in order to get salon results, my hair needs a good blow dry. You may have heard before that the key to getting your hair right depends on the blow dryer. So I have gone back to my super solano blow dryer but I use my T3 to rough dry my hair so it won't be too damp when I blow it out with the solano. T3 has a soft motor and is lighter then the solano. Despite solano is heavier, it blows hard on medium or high temp which will get your hair blown straight with the round brush of your choice. And phillips monster vent brush does just that. However, T3 makes you feel good with blowing it on whatever temp setting which is a relief.

My mom bought me this hair dryer for Easter. At first, I loved it - my hair dried quicker than ever and it felt smooth and shiny! But in retrospect, I would NOT use this product. My long hair is now VERY DRY AND DAMAGED from this hair dryer. It is breaking a lot and is frizzy - something I've never experianced before using this hair dryer. It gets way too hot. I would not purchase this product unless you want damaged hair in the long run.

While I cannot vouch for how long this dryer lasts I got one about a week ago. And I've used it twice and it works amazingly well! My hair has been awesome. However, just getting this dryer does not mean you will have awesome hair. This is an expensive high tech tool for someone who knows what they are doing. The things I also purchased with this dryer was B&B prep, B&B styling lotion, a ceramic iconic brush with giant holes. I also know how to blow dry my hair, like the motion your wrist has to make to use the brush correcty, and how to put the spray in, how to section my hair to dry it, using the cold shot, etc... So in conclusion, if you are looking for a good blow dryer (not a miracle to compensate for lack of skill and knowledge) then this is a dryer for you.
